Hey there, welcome to my blog So today, I'm going to share a very affordable budget table which is
very suitable for students if you are looking for a tablet for study and watching YouTube and
watching movies or dramas. TADA!! It's amazon fire HD, Amazon Fire HD10 2019 version. And it costs me only
RM 550 with the casing. Yes, you're right! With only RM 500+ and you can get a tablet like this.
I've been using it for a month now and it works incredibly good so I decided to share
it on youtube and hopefully it can help students out there who are trying to get budget tablets
who is on a very tight budget. So I've been using it for study, making some notes,
reading my lecture notes and I also use it to watch YouTube, Netflix and my sister use it to
do some artwork. And actually, it works pretty great for the price. So first, let us take a look
what makes this tablet one of the best budget tablets for students. First of all, the price is
very affordable. With only RM 500+, you can get a budget tablet like this which is very good
for like studying, if you want to make some notes and reading and also just watch some Netflix.
Next, it has a 10.1 intro screen which is very large and bright, very good for watching movies or Netflix
but the screen might be a little bit reflective. So you might need to raise the brightness of the
screen when you are at the outdoor. And, it also has a type-c USB port which is very convenient
if you are using a cell phone with type-c USB port. Another thing which is very remarkable
is its incredibly good battery life. Usually I use it for around five hours a day and i'll charge it
every two days. If you are aiming to use this tablet to study, I can tell you it works pretty great! So I
just bought a stylus on Shopee for only RM 30 and i can study and make notes on this tablet
The home screen layout is a bit different from those android tablets or iPad. If you
are an Amazon Kindle user, it's pretty friendly to you. You will see those books that you are reading
and some recommended books over here. So these are some book samples that i've been reading.
Huh! it sounds perfect, right? But there are some downsides for this budget table that might be
a deal-breaker for you. First of all, it doesn't support the multi-split screen mode. Yeah it might be a
deal breaker but I still bought it anyway, because the price is really, really so attractive
So what is so important about the multi-split screen mode? So if you use this table to study
you can't have two ongoing windows, then like sometimes you will be like doing a google
search and like taking down notes at the same time. So so you can't do this on this tablet
but I think is this table is suitable for those who are having like a laptop because I
actually have a laptop, so when I study, I will have my laptop and tablet at the same time. However it
allows you to play videos in the small window at the corner. Another thing about amazon tablet is
they will put some ads on your lock screen, just like this one, this is the ads for the Goodreads
which is then amazon apps for recommended books and book reviews. So yeah this is one um, I don't really
mind they put ads on my lock screen and I think it's quite special and apparently it can't disable the
ads on the lock screen um I can't figure out how to disable it, so I just leave it anyway.
Another thing that might be a deal-breaker for you is the camera. I would say that is a
um, I would say that is a reasonable camera for budget tablets. Um yeah, because most of the
time we don't really use tablets to take photos, so I think it's okay. So I'm going to show some samples
Another thing about the Amazon tablet is it doesn't have Google play store. So it has its own Amazon
app store but actually you can download it on your own. So I'm not going to teach you how to download
it, you can find a lot of hacks or tutorial videos teach you how to download a google play store on
Amazon tablets. So when I bought it on Shopee, I just pay an extra, I think RM10 for them to yeah
download the Google play store for me. The last downside about this tablet is it might be a little
bit sluggish when you have too many ongoing apps. I won't suggest you buy this tablet if you want
to have a very, like advanced gadget. It's more to a very like low-end gadget which meets my
needs, like for reading, study a little bit and just watching dramas for entertainment. So it might be a
little bit sluggish when you have too many ongoing apps. For example, when I run Microsoft Teams, I
can't really run many software together, so I need to go and delete some, ... not delete, I don't
know which word to use. Yeah so you need to remove those ongoing apps, um in the background but if
you are just looking for a tablet for you to read ebooks then jot down some notes or just watching
Netflix or YouTube or dramas casually. It would be the best budget tablets you can find in Malaysia
All in all, this budget tablet is one of the best you can find the market if you are looking for
tablet for reading, study or watching YouTube and dramas especially if you are on a tight
budget. I've been using this table for just a month and so far it works incredibly good!
