hey how's it going welcome back to my blog this is pradeep and you're reading vlog of note so i'm one of those people that believes the future of computing at least for most people is tablet computing and that's why when we had rumors about the samsung galaxy tab s8 series we had to make a video about it here's everything you need to know let's get started i've divided this video up into three parts the first part contains rumors and specifications the second part compares it to the apple ipad air fourth generation and the third part compares it to the microsoft surface pro 7.
let's begin with the first part there is a link in the description right next to that like button from this youtuber called galox i think that's a parody anyway he talks about the rumored specifications of the samsung galaxy tab s8 series they will have 11 inch version and a 12.4 inch version the 11 inch version will be lcd 120 hertz i don't know why samsung does it the 12.4 inch will be amoled obviously with 120 hertz and hopefully ltpo technology which is pretty awesome the s pen will obviously have nine millisecond response time which is pretty awesome the speakers will be quad speakers tuned by akg the best in the industry and there will be no headphone jack now a point i'd like to make here is that samsung always gets the aspect ratio wrong it's supposed to be three by two and not sixteen by nine when it comes to camera there will probably be a selfie camera on the side and dual cameras on the back for those of you interested in tablet photography when it comes to battery it will have an 8 000 mah battery and a 10 000 mah battery with support for 45 watt super fast charging which is pretty awesome the highlight feature of the samsung galaxy tab s8 series seems to be the snapdragon 888 processor to be fair it is a pretty awesome processor with five nanometer and a pretty competent single and multi-core score on geekbench. now comparing the vanilla samsung galaxy tab s8 to the apple ipad air fourth generation i would still say go ahead and get the apple ipad air 4 generation because one it has the a14 processor which is significantly better than the snapdragon 888 also the lcd displays are pretty much the same and i don't think the 120 hertz is going to make such a difference as compared to apple's optimizations and apple will give you software updates for many many years oh and comparing this to the microsoft surface pro 7 i would still say go ahead and get the microsoft surface pro 7 because the surface pro 7 has the core i5 processor which is pretty much comparable to the snapdragon 888 but it still runs windows which is a much more productivity focused tablet operating system when it comes to pricing and availability the tab s8 series is going to be launching as per usual in august of 2021 for a starting price of 650 or 850 dollars which.
